We partner with leading cancer centers to get you a high-quality diagnosis within one week
We partner with leading cancer centers to get you a high-quality diagnosis within one week
Getting a cancer diagnosis typically involves scheduling multiple tests and waiting for weeks - even months - while your anxiety builds.
Here at Faster Diagnosis, we expedite and coordinate every aspect of the cancer diagnosis process so you don’t have to wait. And, we provide high quality diagnoses by ensuring that your diagnostic workup includes the same imaging and tests you would receive at a top cancer center, and any complex cases can be sent to a sub-specialized radiologist and pathologist for a second opinion. We currently support breast, colon, cervical, and prostate cancers.
We know the anxiety of waiting for a diagnosis. You want to move on with your life or be able to get going with treatment. We can help.
How it works
We partner with imaging and surgical centers to get you in within three days, and coordinate all diagnostic services in as short a timeframe as possible. For example, for breast cancer, you can get a diagnostic mammogram, ultrasound, and if necessary, the guided biopsy, in a single visit, with the pathology results coming back in a few days. Then a clinician walks you through the results, answers your questions, and discusses recommendations for any further testing or care if required. Finally, if you do require treatment, we can coordinate with your primary care clinician, help you choose an appropriate oncologist for your specific cancer, and get you scheduled for treatment. We take on all the logistics for the visit as well, including scheduling and transporation, ensuring that you can focus on your health.
Cost
We will check your insurance to see if our centers are in-network for your plan. There is an additional fee of $1000 to cover the expedited appointments, coordination, and support.
Time to treatment matters in cancer. Untreated cancers have more time to grow and spread to other parts of the body. A study published in the British Medical Journal (2020) found that an eight-week delay in breast cancer surgery increases the risk of death by 17%. Even a two-week delay results in a 4% increase. It is important to get a high-quality diagnosis as rapidly as possible.
We know that getting a diagnosis can be a stressful time, and that you might have questions. Patients who have been diagnosed with cancer have told us they wish they had someone knowledgable they could talk to about their concerns and decisions. Our board-certified clinicians can answer your questions and recommend appropriate treatment
One of the frustrating parts of the diagnostic process is that patients have to do so much: scheduling appointments, checking if providers are in-network, even driving in traffic and finding parking. Our coordinators can take care of the details for you, as well as coordinate transportation to and from your visit, so you can focus on your health.
